Winterizing your system means shutting it down, or blowing out any existing water in your system for the winter. It helps prevent damage due to freezing temperatures.

You do not need to be home for your appointment but your water does need to be turned off. Please flag and locate all of your valve boxes.

  • The City of Calgary adopted the Cross Connection Control Program as part of the National Plumbing Code in early 2012.

The program oversees guidelines for controlling cross connections and ensuring compliance so that Calgary’s drinking water supply is protected from contaminated water. This is done by preventing water that has been used for irrigation within a facility or home from flowing into the drinking water system.

  • King’s Irrigation can install new systems, upgrade or revamp old systems, and add-on to existing systems.
